The brands “Plastica Seconda Vita MixEco” and “Plastica Seconda Vita Post Consumo” are two systems of environmental certification of products derived from the treatment of plastic waste recovered from recycling and industrial waste.

Born from the need to make recycled materials traceable and identifiable, “Plastica Seconda Vita” (Plastic Second Life) is the first Italian and European brand dedicated to recycled plastic which certifies the percentage of recycled material the product is made out of, in reference to the percentages reported in the memorandum of August 4, 2004, implementation of the DM 203/2003 on the Green Public Procurement.

The achievement of the Plastica Seconda Vita certification testifies to the adoption by Materie Plastiche Pisane SRL of the circular economy system: the PSV polyethylene used is in fact part of the virtuous circle of recycling.

PSV packaging has the same technical and mechanical characteristics as virgin raw material packaging, with minor variations.
The Plastica Seconda Vita certification guarantees the complete traceability of the production chain, from recovered waste to the packaging produced and marked with the logo and the certificate number.
